Stewart Farms

CO-OP

A regenerative farm in Pleasant Hope, Missouri

Stewart Farms CO-OP is a regenerative farm committed to restoring the health of our land while fostering a sense of community through nature-based activities. By implementing sustainable agricultural practices, the farm not only enhances soil health and biodiversity but also offers a welcoming environment for educational experiences. Visitors can participate in nature hikes that highlight the beauty of the landscape and the intricacies of local ecosystems, while farm education programs provide insights into regenerative techniques and the importance of environmental stewardship. This multifunctional space serves as a hub for learning, exploration, and connection with nature, allowing individuals and families to engage meaningfully with the land.

While the school is completely outdoors, our host site offers a large covered pavilion to beat the heat and escape from heavy rainfall.

Private restrooms and a warming kitchen are on site. But the classes will primarily be exploring all 50 acres of the property and not in close proximity of the pavilion except for drop off, lunch, free play before pick up, and any lessons that require tables and workspaces.

The CO-OP is a fully functioning, 50 acre farm that we have the honor to participate in. Some of our classes will be held near the farm animals and gardens. We ask that students maintain the upmost respect for the farm and its operations.
